The Dessert Museum ( A Walkthrough)

Did you ever dream about having a room full sweets? Something like the house made of chocolate and candy from 'Hansel & Gretel's' story? Or even Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory? Look no further, Manila has something similar to those houses and you can take as many pictures as you like! It's called- The Dessert Museum. 🍭🍭🍭

Location: S Masion Mall, Conrad Hotel Manila, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, Philippines

The museum opened last February 2018 and we were able to visit around May 2018. So, yes, my blog post about this is already 10 months late, since I haven't started blogging by that time. I've also seen that there were a few updates made. If you've been there lately or still planning to go in the future, just keep in mind this was taken months ago.

This is what you'll see before entering the DONUT room.

Before taking the tour, you'll pick a time allotment for a total of 2 hours. The museum consists of 8 rooms with different sweet themes. They are the-

1.) Donut Room

When you enter every room, you'll have the time to take pictures. I think around 15-20 minutes for each. This room obviously consists of hanging wooden donuts. I just love the color combination they did here, pink and yellow! Just be careful since these hanging donuts are pretty heavy and might hurt when it hit your face (how I wish they're just edible!) I remember the exact same donut from 'The Voodoo Donuts' shop I've tried from Portland. Yum! 🍩 There's also a wall filled with donuts.

2.) Marshmallow Room

Same with the donut room, fake white marshmallows are hanging like crazy! And yet I'm still dreaming they were all edible! Fortunately, they serve the first dessert/sweets here. Before leaving the room, you'll see a pot of 'white mallows' that you can dip in three kinds of fondue- chocolate, caramel and strawberry. Don't expect too much with the quality of marshmallows, I still prefer Krafts 'Jet-puffed!'

3.) Naughty or Nice? Room

A photo with two of my girlfriends and my son, who enjoys the museum so much!

The next room was split into two colors- Pink and Blue. We're not even halfway yet but we've captured too much photos already! And there's also another section with lots of balls on display. Dessert macarons in blue and pink were also offered. I think I was too busy capturing photos that I didn't notice the desserts they offer so much. 😅

4.) Ice Cream Room

Ice Cream Cone of Dreams

This 'Up' movie inspired room is full of colored balls like the ones you see on children's playground. My son got excited diving on those balls but I think it's pretty unhygienic since people are still wearing their shoes inside. They also offer popsicle ice creams here!

5.) Gum Ball Room

This room has a life-sized gum ball machine filled with colorful balloons. Unfortunately, I don't have decent photos taken here. 😩 Though my son surely enjoyed since he went inside the giant gum ball machine!

6.) Gummy Bear Room

Gummy Bear Room

Who doesn't love gummies? Or bears? This room has larger than life-sized gummy bears waiting to be hugged and squeezed!

You also have to take a snap with these cute little tubs with your friends, filled with balls and we just grabbed those balloons for our props!

7.) Pink Cotton Candy Room

Gone wild with a cotton candy!

This room has a ceiling of pink clouds or cotton candy. Perfect for all the pink lovers out there! By this time, I'm just enjoying the free cotton candy given since we're almost down to the last room! Sweets overload!

8.) Cake Pops Room

If you remember Miley Cyrus' wrecking ball moment, this is the fun way to do it! Hang and pose your way in this upside down cake pops with candy sprinkles. Just be careful since you'll find yourself having some difficulty climbing one of those gigantic cake pops!

We totally had a blast and lots of fun during this tour. Don't forget to bring your kids or girlfriends with you! Totally ideal also for couples who likes to have some sweet and colorful time together. 💕🍭
